2016 has been quite difficult this year in the vines, because of the weather: hail damages, rain during the spring, mildiou disease. Hoppefully, the dry summer saved the vintage. We started the harvest on the 19th of September to finish on the 30th, and finally we were happy of the quantity and quality for the Soufrandière grapes in Vinzelles (Picture of Pouilly-Vinzelles Les Longeays). For BRET BROTHERS, some of the parcels have been 90% destroid by hail (april, may and june), but most of the other produced a normal year quantity. 2016 should be really elegant. Happy Wines ;-)
