The altitude of Vergisson (a high 350 metres or 1150 ft) and the South facing vines of « En Carementrant » make this great terroir one of the best in appellation Pouilly-Fuissé. The 40 to 55 year-old South-facing vines  are right under the majestic cliff of « la Roche de Vergisson ». This plot of vines was misfortunate enough to endure spring frost in 2003, dry conditions in the summer of 2003 and a hail storm in late July 2004.
A magnificent mineral wine full of tension in 2007.

A bottle to be patiently awaited for some time or one will miss the great 2008 vintage.
