As opposed to our Saint-Véran Climat « En Combe », this terroir called « la Fournaise » is at the foot of « la Roche de Vergisson » on the other side of Pouilly-Fuissé (see our map).
The soil, or rather the white calcarous rock which is the local soil, gives very pure mineral wines which tend to remain « closed » when young. But what a potential from this other very small plot producing 3 to 4 barrels (pièces) a year. Limited quantity !!!

		Vinification & Ageing : Hand-picked grapes, whole berries pressing, 100% vinified and aged in oak barrel (of 228 liters each) for 11 months.
