POUILLY-FUISSÉ Climat « La Roche »

We did not expect to select another Pouilly-Fuissé at Vergisson. But we did not hesitate one moment when we discovered this plot of vines. « La Roche » has GOT to be THE  NOBLE TERROIR of Vergisson, fully facing east at the foot of la Roche de Vergisson. Here too, the 50 year-old vines draw quintescential minerality. A purist’s wine also capable of charming a beginner .
To be kept for at least 2 to 3 years before opening. Absolutely worth the effort !

To be laid down for at least 2 to 3 years. Even more so in 2008 ! Success is guaranteed !

	Technical notes:
		Age of vines: 50 years
		Surface : 0.50 ha (1.23 acres)
		Soil: Clay and limestone. Highly calcarous. Facing East, South-East on the side of la Roche de Vergisson.
		Altitude : 400 metres (1312 ft).
		Vinification & Ageing : Hand-picked grapes, whole berries pressing, 100% vinified and aged in oak barrel (of 228 liters each) for 11 months
